It was still an okay read, which is why I gave it 3 stars. However when I started getting closer and closer to the end I had to put it down simply because I didn’t want it lezh end.
When an attack hits close to home, they are visited by the FBI. I wanted to sob because I just wanted to read until the very end. Leah Spiegel did a great job of intertwining a romance with a suspense novel and even though I was pretty confident that I knew what was going to happen in the end, I had no idea of the roller coaster ride that I would be on to get to that ending.

But I just can not help it! You will not be bored with this one at all. Spiegel spun a whole new tale for the trio and made it feel fresh and new yet familiar. I guess I was expecting something cliche, but was hit with a very real tragedy. So one night while joining her other friend Lizzie who is hooking up with one of the band members, the leader, Hawkins, make a snide comment that Joie doesn’t take lying down.
It started out with a little dislike, but once she showed her true colors, it was full on hate. I assume there will be a third book and I know I will have to read that one as well to find out how things end up with the characters.
It’s different than most books where girls fall in love with lead singers of bands.

I love the banter between J. Kindle Editionpages. Mix all that with an original although slightly predictable plot line and a romance almost every girl has dreamed of and you’ve got yourself one sweet treat. Things got kicked up a notch by crazy dude stalking the band and in all of the craziness he ends up stalking Joie and friends as well. You would think the reason of the stalker is because he loves the band so much but, the root of it is a little deeper lewh that.
Kudos for the author for giving great insight into human emotion and what can push someone over the edge and make them crack.

Trying something new for me at the end of this review let me know what you think. Just as good as the first book. That did not happen at all. Luckily I started this book on my vacation because there was no way I could put it down once I started reading. Spirgel has a more maternal outlook on her two road trip buddies.
Many times what I thought, as I was reading, was too much detail was actually there because it was later referenced in the story thus even though it seemed as if it was dragging a little, it was actually leaving something that would come back later. Lacked suspense in certain parts and at times became tedious and somewhat boring.
Joie is such a great female protagonist, she’s tough, snarky, and loyal to a fault. I love the whole they-don’t-like-each-other tension. The very end of this book was very shocking. I loved how easily it flowed from book 1 to this one and loved the story twists in this one. Hmmm to put it simply, I loved this book!
